Annotation. The article examines the role of innovative digital technologies in developing green competencies among learners within the framework of the SMART education concept. Green competencies are defined as an integrated ability to apply knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to address sustainable development challenges in both professional and everyday activities. It is demonstrated that SMART education, based on the principles of intelligence, adaptability, personalization, and interdisciplinarity, creates an optimal environment for fostering these competencies. Particular attention is paid to key digital tools of 2024–2026, including artificial intelligence (generative models and AI assistants), virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), digital simulations of environmental processes, open education platforms with gamification elements, IoT-based environmental monitoring systems, and blockchain technologies ensuring carbon footprint transparency. Based on an analysis of international and national practices (Kyrgyzstan, EAEU countries, EU), the most effective models for integrating digital technologies into the educational process are identified, and recommendations for their implementation in universities and colleges of the Kyrgyz Republic are proposed.
