ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFICIENCY OF FINANCIAL RESOURCE UTILIZATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

Annotation. The article examines the issues of assessing the efficiency of financial resource utilization in higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic under conditions of limited budget funding and increasing requirements for the quality of educational services. The purpose of the study is to analyze the mechanisms for the formation and allocation of financial resources in universities, as well as to identify factors influencing the efficiency of their use.
The research employs methods of economic analysis, comparative and statistical analysis, as well as an examination of the financial statements of higher education institutions. Particular attention is paid to the structure of university revenues and expenditures, the ratio of budgetary and extra-budgetary funding sources, and indicators of financial sustainability and performance. Based on the conducted analysis, key problems and constraints in the financial management system of higher education institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic are identified.
The study proposes recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of financial resource utilization, strengthening the financial autonomy of universities, and ensuring the sustainable development of the higher education system.
