WAYS OF DEVELOPING HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL TOURISM IN THE CHUY REGION OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

Annotation. This article provides a brief overview of the development of historical and cultural tourism in the Chuy Region of the Kyrgyz Republic. Region boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage closely linked to its strategic location along the ancient Silk Road. Serving as a vital crossroads for trade and cultural exchange between the East and West, it has left a profound imprint on the region's history. The Chuy Region holds significant potential for the development of historical and cultural tourism, thanks to its abundant heritage and diverse monuments. Integrating historical and cultural sites into tourist itineraries, including excursions and educational programs, can enhance awareness of these monuments' significance and stimulate interest in their study.
