METHODS OF FASHION CLOTHING DESIGN IN ACCORDANCE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS

Annotation. The article examines modern methods of fashion clothing design that comply with environmental standards and the principles of sustainable development. Special attention is given to the selection of eco-friendly materials, including organic and recycled textile fibers, as well as technologies aimed at reducing waste during the construction of garments. Zero-waste and upcycling practices are analyzed, highlighting their potential to minimize negative environmental impact while preserving the artistic expression of fashion products. Digital design tools such as 3D modeling and virtual prototypes are discussed, emphasizing their role in reducing material consumption and accelerating the development of collections. The article also considers the criteria of ecological certification and their influence on design decisions. The findings underline the importance of integrating environmental standards into the fashion design process and emphasize the relevance of promoting sustainable approaches within the fashion industry.
