MODERN APPROACHES TO THE CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL (REVIEW OF DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN EXPERIENCE)

Annotation. The article provides an overview of modern approaches to teaching mathematics in primary schools of the Kyrgyz Republic. It analyzes the principles of the updated State Subject Standard: competency-based approach, cross-curricular integration, and development of functional literacy. The reasons for low educational outcomes (NOODU, PISA), including regional and linguistic disparities, are examined. Special attention is paid to innovative methodologies: individualization through differentiated tasks and projects, use of digital resources.
