ACTIVATING INDEPENDENT COGNITION IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Annotation. The article examines methods for activating independent cognition in primary school mathematics lessons. It analyzes the psychological characteristics of younger students and the principles and methods (problem-based learning, inquiry and game technologies) for developing children's independent thinking, motivation, and cognitive activity.
